How we vet vendors
Lifetime deals fail when vendors disappear, strip features, or rebrand into a v2. We built a 7-part trust check to stop that — and we keep checking forever.
1. Identity & legal
Real entity, registration number, jurisdiction, founder government ID, domain ownership proof.
2. Team resilience
Headcount, in-house vs contractor split, founder LinkedIn, bus-factor plan if the founder is unavailable.
3. Financial stability
Funding stage, MRR band, runway in months, profitability state, optional verified revenue.
4. Product maturity
Public launch date, pricing page, status page, uptime SLA, single-API risk disclosure.
5. Track record
Past LTDs honoured, public review aggregates, GitHub activity, press mentions.
6. The Lifetime Promise
Honour period, feature lock, sunset clause, v2 clause, deprecation notice — locked at launch.
7. Continuous monitoring
Approval is day zero, not the end. Every approved vendor goes through:
- • 90-day attestation — vendor confirms they are still operating and honouring the promise.
- • Daily auto-checks — website uptime, GitHub activity, status page, refund-rate anomalies, support SLA.
- • Dead-man switch — if a vendor goes silent across multiple signals, we mark the product unsupported and email past buyers per the sunset clause.
Built different from AppSumo
AppSumo verifies once at intake. We verify forever. Every vendor's promise is public, signed, and locked. See it for yourself on any product page.
